8. LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Site Based
Reports To: Construction Manager
Job Summary:
To manage the flow of materials in a highly congested and secure site. You ensure critical equipment
arrives "Just in Time" (JIT).
Detailed Scope of Work (Data Centre Specific):
Delivery Slotting: Manage a digital booking system for all site deliveries to prevent traffic jams at
the security gate.
White Glove Handling: Oversee the delivery of sensitive IT Racks and Server Cabinets, ensuring
shock-watch sensors are checked and tilt-watch indicators are verified.
Laydown Management: Allocate specific laydown zones for subcontractors; enforce "Clean As
You Go" to minimize fire risk.
Crane Usage: Coordinate tower crane and mobile crane time slots between competing trade
subcontractors.
Requirements:
Experience: Logistics management in large-scale construction or warehouse operations. Language: Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English to coordinate with drivers and suppliers.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
