Team Lead - Shipping & Logistics Operations (24/7 Rotational Shifts)



Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Team Lead with strong knowledge of the shipping and logistics domain to manage operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. The ideal candidate will monitor team performance, drive process improvements, and ensure service excellence while fostering engagement and career development.

Key Responsibilities:



Act as the first point of escalation for staff queries. Monitor team productivity, accuracy, and performance against targets. Coordinate with Area offices to provide feedback on team performance. Ensure achievement of service levels, quality, and productivity targets as per QEM standards. Identify and implement process improvements through quality initiatives. Prepare and publish reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Motivate and guide team members through effective management and career development. Handle scheduling, leave planning, and performance appraisals. Foster teamwork, engagement, and retention within the team. Collaborate across teams to balance workload and enhance customer satisfaction. Act as a communication link between management and team members. Participate in organizational initiatives such as BCM.

Qualifications:



Diploma or equivalent in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management

, or related field.

3-7 years of experience

as a Team Lead in customer service or operations roles. Experience managing operations for a company that runs 24/7. Strong knowledge of the

shipping and logistics domain

. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with tools like Qlik and Power BI. Additional skills in R or Python are an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts (mandatory).

Strong keyboard skills and typing speed. Ability to comprehend data and provide meaningful business insights. Consistently achieve and exceed targets while maintaining error-free operations. Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes and resolve issues effectively.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
