Understand local import policies and handle duty exemptions for imported equipment and raw materials, ensuring their timely arrival in compliance with exemption policies.
Coordinate with customs to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
Reconcile accounts with freight forwarders and process reimbursement of incurred expenses.
Manage local transportation and logistics, including negotiating prices and processing reimbursements.
Qualifications
Good command of English and Malay (spoken and written). Other languages will be an additional advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of local import/export regulations and customs procedures.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
