ABOUT THE POSITION The Executive, Logistics is responsible for providing executive support to the Manager, Logistics as well as having a close business\xe2\x80\x93partnering relationship with the Executive, Operations, and will be based in Bentong, Pahang. The position will require, amongst others, execution of scheduling, data tracking, licensing, training, inspections, documentation, Purchase Orders\' administration, and other related logistics and operations tasks necessary for the Logistics Department. The personnel will report directly to the Manager, Logistics, and concurrently to General Manager, Operations.
KEY TRAITS & SKILLS NEEDED
- Planning and data monitoring experience
- Responding well and managing issues or complaints by customers.
- Ensuring compliance with all laws, transport legislation, Company policies, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, coordinating, organizational, and interpersonal communications skills and abilities.
- Ability to work independently, handling multiple projects, coordinating drivers, vehicles, loads, and journeys
- Ensure transport/ shipping/ delivery documents are accepted, recorded, completed, and properly managed/ administered
- Conduct regular safety audits/ inspection
- To manage the delivery team and plan their delivery schedule so that goods are delivered to customers on time
- To assist with building and training the delivery team.
- To ensure that the inventory is managed in accordance with the QMS
- Willing to take up the additional task when required.
- Ability to provide timely reports, analysis, and feedback
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum diploma or higher qualification in the logistics field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 or 2 years of working experience in logistics or a similar industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, SAP, WMS, or logistics scheduling software would be an added advantage.
