Lead and manage end-to-end export operations for shipments to the
United States
, ensuring full compliance with US Customs and international trade regulations.
Strategically coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to optimize shipment routes, lead times, and freight costs.
Review and approve all shipping documentation (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, COO, B/L, etc.) to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all export documentation adheres to
US import regulations, Incoterms, FTAs
, and client-specific compliance standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of
HS Codes, tariff classifications, export control laws
, and other regulations affecting US-bound shipments.
Provide guidance to internal teams on export compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
3. Logistics Optimization & Cost Management
Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to plan container loading schedules and ensure timely dispatch.
Implement cost-saving initiatives related to
freight, packaging, warehousing, and documentation processes
.
Monitor logistics KPIs and analyze performance data to drive improvements in speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
4. Stakeholder Coordination & Issue Resolution
Act as the primary liaison for internal departments (Sales, Finance, Production) and external partners (forwarders, insurers, US clients).
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, customs clearance issues, and other logistics challenges.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Prepare management-level reports covering export performance, delivery reliability, logistics costs, and compliance metrics.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance export processes, delivery accuracy, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade
, or related field (Master's Degree is an advantage).
3-5 years of experience
in export operations, preferably handling shipments to the
United States
.
Strong knowledge of
international trade compliance, US customs regulations, Incoterms, HS Codes
, and shipping documentation.
Proficient in logistics systems, ERP platforms, and performance reporting tools.
Fluent in English and Mandarin
(spoken and written) for cross-border communication.
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Able to work independently, manage time-sensitive tasks, and lead process improvement projects.
