Job Description

Manages all logistics operations related to Ground Support Equipment (GSE), including inbound/outbound movement, warehouse coordination, shipping logistics (import/export), freight handling, customs clearance, and delivery scheduling. The role ensures timely availability of GSE spare parts, components, and equipment for workshop, airport operations, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with local/overseas suppliers and shipping agents for incoming shipments. Track international shipments (air freight, sea freight, courier) and update stakeholders on ETA. Verify Delivery Orders (DO), packing lists, and received goods for accuracy and condition. Schedule transportation for heavy equipment movement. Prepare delivery documents such as DO, routing forms, gate passes, and transport logs. Arrange international shipments via air/sea/courier based on urgency and cost. Obtain freight quotations and select suitable shipping methods. Track shipments and provide regular updates on timelines and delays. Prepare shipping and customs documentation. Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for clearance. Ensure all shipments comply with import/export regulations and company SOPs. Liaise with overseas suppliers on packaging, shipping instructions, and export documents. Handle issues related to customs inspection, tax/duty, demurrage, or storage charges. Support Finance by providing shipment and logistics-related documents for billing.

Requirements:

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 1-3 years experience in logistics, preferably with automotive/heavy machinery. Knowledge in shipping logistics, international trade, and customs documentation. Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-critical deliveries. Familiar with ERP or inventory system is an advantage. Physically able to supervise loading/unloading when needed. Willing to base at Kota Warisan, Sepang.
