About this role

Coordinate the goods movement of assigned customer at a Warehouse to ensure on time delivery and inventory accuracy.

What you will be doing

Coach and supervise a team

• Coach, supervise and motivate a team of subordinates.
• Ensure staff is trained on accuracy, inventory, space utilization and safety procedures in accordance to OSHA140001.

Inventory Control

• Control inventory levels by reviewing data recorded in tracking system, retrieving data, designing reports and taking corrective actions.
• Maintains historical record keeping by tracing historical records of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
• Involved in cycle count and stock count.
• Ensure all discrepancies are investigated and reported accordingly.
• Corrective and preventive actions are to be documented for the discrepancies.

Operation Process

• Monitor and supervise incoming and outgoing of cargo of assigned customer. Upon receiving, ensure all products are properly labelled, stored and information uploaded into relevant systems.
• Monitor picking and packing process before outgoing of cargo.
• Ensure security of cargo at all times in compliance with C-TPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) guidelines.
• Make arrangements with trucks for incoming and outgoing of cargoes.

Reporting and Documentation

• Provide periodic reports to customers.
• Provide periodic operation and productivity reports to Logistics Manager.
• Resolve customer request, questions and complaints.
• Ensure all procedures and documentation are completed in accordance to ISO9001 and ISO18001 regulations.

QHSE Compliance

• Development & training of your team in-conjunction with QHSE training program.
• Managing QSHE program for the logistics site including reporting / auditing and system compliance.
• Overseeing the warehouse and ensure that the company\xe2\x80\x99s standards and procedures are being met and followed.
• Comply with all BL QHSE Integrated Management System policies and procedures.
• Support all company QHSE promotions and initiatives.
• Keep informed all QHSE information provided by the company in accordance with any legislation, code of practice and guidelines and liaise as necessary with the relevant government departments and private bodies.
• Immediately, in the event of an accident, dangerous occurrence, or a risk of imminent and serious injury or harm to the health of any person at the workplace, report the matter to your senior Manager or Supervisor.

The successful candidate

Technical

• Minimum of 5 years in supervisory role in a third party logistics organization
• Fully literate on Microsoft Office
