A fantastic opportunity for to work in Cochlear as a Logistics Operations Team Leader. This role provides first level support the Logistics Operations Coordinators or Good Inwards Inspectors, ensuring the teams are trained in processes to complete jobs and meet performance and continuous improvement goals.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Accountable for Receiving, Goods Inwards Inspections, General stores, Packing and Shipping.
• Prioritise Jobs to maximize efficiency and meet urgent requirements.
• Liaise and communicate with all internal and external parties.
• Ensure daily data entry records monitored in ORACLE are accurate and all documentation is managed correctly.
• Ensure that processes and procedures are followed, and quality compliance is maintained.
• Assist in monitoring daily productivity objectives to ensure they are meeting company and departmental standards.
• Provide support for warehouse quality issues and resolution of compliance issues.
• Working knowledge within a QMS
• Provide independent resources to perform Product Release for implants and sterilized items (and when required, other finished goods).
• Ensure compliance with all Product Release Procedures.
• Ensure that all functions within the warehouse are carried out efficiently and accurately
• Ensure that CLTD processes and procedures are followed, and quality compliance is maintained.
• Follow relevant quality procedures to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement.
• Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables
• Work safely, complying with all safety procedures, rules, and instructions, and reporting workplace hazards, incidents, or injuries to manager
• Undertake additional responsibilities when needed.

Key Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Logistics or similar is required for this position.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse / logistics operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience in managing manufacturing requirements is an added advantage for this role.
• Experience working in Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Intermediate skill level in use of MS Excel &Tableau
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication in English is an added advantage for this role.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
