To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Plasma Control Technologies division at the Penang site as aLogistics SpecialistFor 75 years, we have been following our curiosity. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication.In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

• Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Develop and initiate monthly report to track key performance Index (KPI) for shipping and packaging area to track efficiency and effectiveness of the department
• Ensure all inbound and outbound documents are available for shipment and clearance purposes
• Establish, maintain and manage a healthy relationship with freight forwarders, custom brokers, regulators and customers via regular meetings and communication
• Track and evaluate the performance of freight forwarders via Business Review Meeting in relation to On Time Delivery and Cost Saving opportunity
• Review freight expenses and identify opportunity for cost saving purposes
• Ensure all indirect materials are available for packaging activities
• Review and submit reports to regulatory authorities on a timely manner
• Develop and maintain good documentation practices for Shipping and Packaging activities for audit purposes
• Provide consultation to stakeholders on best practices in relation to logistic activities and local custom regulation
• Train new employees on shipping, custom and packaging activities
• Represent Warehouse and Logistic Team for new / improvement project

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor\'s Degree in any discipline with 2 years of related working experience in Shipping / Logistics Department in manufacturing environment
• Experienced in liaising with Customs, MITI, MIDA, SIRIM, etc.
• Good knowledge of Customs Act 1967
• Working knowledge in using SAP and analytical
