As fast-growing company, we are looking to hire a full time Lorry Driver cum Warehouse Assistant, to be based at our branch in Penang Island. Job Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure goods are delivered in good condition, without incurring any damage in transit, taking into account any special delivery instructions on delivery orders. \xe2\x80\xa2 To obtain customer\xe2\x80\x99s signature and company\xe2\x80\x99s chop as proof of delivery of the order. \xe2\x80\xa2 Such delivery orders to be handed back to office immediately upon return to warehouse. \xe2\x80\xa2 To immediately advise your superior of any circumstances which causes delay in the delivery schedule. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure proper maintenance of the company\xe2\x80\x99s lorry and to immediately advise your superior of any incident e.g. accident, summons and etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support daily warehouse activities for goods receiving, arrangement, picking, unloading containers and loan items for delivery. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are consistent against the delivery order or packing list. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times. \xe2\x80\xa2 To operate and ensure proper maintenance of the forklift. \xe2\x80\xa2 To immediately advise your superior of any deterioration or damage of goods. \xe2\x80\xa2 To perform other duties as requested by your superior from time to time. Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must have completed at least PMR/PT3 or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must possess a valid GDL license. \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate has experience driving forklift. \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must be willing to work overtime during busy seasons or to cover absences. Overtime pay will be compensated. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attentive to details, self-starter with a high level of initiative, strong sense of urgency. \xe2\x80\xa2 Punctual, trustworthy and responsible individual with good working attitude. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent and able to work well in a team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good command of English & Malay (spoken)
