Requirements

• Possess a valid (GDL) driving license and a clean driving record.
• Possess a valid CIDB green card.
• Ability to operate and maintain lorries safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English to effectively communicate with clients and other team members.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures related to transportation and delivery.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to schedules.
• Physically fit and available for onsite work at the specified locations within Penang.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the lorry in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the lorry, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
• Load, secure, and unload goods carefully, ensuring that items are properly protected from damage during transit and verifying the accuracy of the delivery against accompanying documentation.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, taking into account traffic conditions, road closures, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered during the route.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company from time to time.
