Job Responsibility Heavy Truck And Lorry Drivers Drive And Tend Heavy Motor Vehicles To Transport Goods, Liquids And Heavy Materials Over Short Or Long Distances. Tasks Include Driving And Tending A Heavy Motor Vehicle, Such As A Lorry With or Without Trailer Or A Dump-Truck, To Transport Goods, Liquids Or Heavy Materials Over Short Or Long Distances Determining The Most Appropriate Routes Ensuring That Goods Are Stowed And Securely Covered To Prevent Loss And Damage Assisting With Or Carrying Out Loading Or Unloading Operations, Using Various Lifting Or Tipping Devices Carrying Out Minor Maintenance To Vehicles, And Arranging Major Maintenance And Repairs Estimating Weights To Comply With Load Limitations, And Ensuring The Safe Distribution Of Weights. Responsible for the transportation, loading, unloading, and quantity counting of the company\'s goods. Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of company vehicles. Assist in handling the company\'s vehicle insurance, claims, and annual inspection procedures. Coordinate with the distribution supervisor to handle certain matters after delivering goods. Assist in handling daily administrative tasks. Adhere to various traffic rules, strive to improve technical skills, and prevent vehicle accidents, ensuring the careful handling of vehicles to cherish one\'s own life. Obey work arrangements, actively cooperate with goods transportation, and ensure timely delivery. Conduct pre-departure preparations every day, check whether the vehicle\'s brakes, tire pressure, oil, fuel, and water are normal, ensure that parts are complete, and guarantee vehicle safety. Perform daily cleaning of the vehicle\'s interior and exterior. Vocational Driving License (VDL) Goods Driving Licence (GDL) Job Requirements Ability to work independently. Positive attitude and a sense of responsibility. Work experience is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Confident and able to interact actively with all relevant parties.
