Job ID: M320 AH- CM(A45)Position: Head of Design and EngineeringSalary Package : Up to RM12,000Benefit : Annual leave, Medical leave etcCompany Background : Manufacturing of switchboxWorking Hour: 08:00AM -05:30PMWorking Day: Mon - FriWorking Location: Senai, JohorJOB DESCRIPTIONLead and mentor a group of engineers in the preparation, checking and submission of drawings, catalogues and calculations and identifying issues that affect project deliverySupervise team for the design, implementation, maintenance, and improving the electrical/electronic systemsOversee the projects conception, design and specifications and manage scheduling, estimating and securing materialsManage technical matters in projects and provide not only technical recommendations within the targeted project budgetConducting engineering studies and investigations and provide engineering guidanceRepresents Company at technical meetings with clients, stake holders and serves as the company\'s technical representative to clients and suppliers (e.g.FAT/SAT)Responsible for design of electrical systems and/or communications systems; ensuring that these systems meet applicable standards & codesProvide Design support for Various Electrical Services, including design calculations and conceptual design drawingsDevelop method of statements and risk analysis studiesCo-ordinate with clients, consultants on the technical requirements and attend technical discussions and meeting with authorities, developer, and contractorsCo-ordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and own teams for implementation of the projects and ensuring it is being built correctly and timely delivery of worksMonitoring and carrying out quality check on progressive completed workInspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standardsPrepare calculation reports / technical notes, and review those prepared by other team membersDeliver design solutions to meet customer requirements and verify that specifications for product systems, subsystems, interfaces and components meet customer requirements and maintain traceability throughout the development process.Ensure proposal compliance with the companys quality procedures, customers requirement and relevant/latest standards & regulations are updated accordinglyEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and above.EXPERIENCE & SKILL FACTORSMinimum 5 to 10 years of design experience in LV Switchgears., Schematics & Layout design (including library design), Cable Assembly Design, and Design documentationProficient with MS Office Program, AutoCAD.Knowledge on designing in 3D layout/ BIM/ OBD will be an advantage.Proficiency in English (written and oral skills) is a MUSTA responsible, self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organizational and communication skills.Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem solving and time management skillsExperience in construction Project ManagementFamiliar with Code of Practices, electrical design, electrical calculationsEffective communication between engineering, technical, construction, and project control group
