Reporting to the Operation Manager, The Safety Lead is responsible to follow up the new established Global safety standard for automation , perform safety control to assure automation design and fabrication compliance to the standard and as well as t Reporting to the Operation Manager, The Safety Lead is responsible to follow up the new established Global safety standard for automation , perform safety control to assure automation design and fabrication compliance to the standard and as well as the country specific standard such as CE,UL. Job Requirements: Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: .. Perform risk assessment for all new design automation equipment, work with mechanical and electrical design team to reduce safety risk.. Conduct safety buyoff for each of the new equipment.. Work with third party on equipment certification such as CE,UL etc.. Maintain and improve safety buyoff system, provide training to team.. Manage safety related documentation. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: . Be familiar with ISO,IEC,CE,UL safety standard for machinery safety ,robotics application safety, electrical safety.. Certified safety engineer.. Good data analysis skill.. Good internal & external communication skill.. Good spoken and written English, CET 4 or above. Physical Demands: . Healthy as per local and global existing Health and Safety guideline. Typical Experience: . 5 years safety control related working experience on equipment mechanical and electrical design. Typical Education: . Bachelor's degree in a related field. Travel . Expectation of travel to vendor/supplier locations is less than 10% of time, however may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet project needs
