We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled

Machine Learning Engineer

to join our growing team in Malaysia. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI models that power our core legal platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development & Implementation:

Design, build, and deploy machine learning models with a focus on legal-specific NLP tasks such as contract analysis, text summarization, and legal document automation.

Data Preparation & Feature Engineering:

Collaborate with data scientists and legal domain experts to preprocess, clean, and transform large-scale legal datasets for training and evaluation.

Model Optimization & Evaluation:

Continuously evaluate and fine-tune models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and performance.

Infrastructure & Deployment:

Work alongside software engineers to integrate ML models into production systems and maintain scalable infrastructure.

Research & Innovation:

Stay updated with the latest ML and AI advancements and apply innovative techniques to enhance product features and performance.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong command of Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Solid foundation in ML algorithms, data structures, and statistical modeling. Familiarity with NLP tools and libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK) is highly desirable. Experience with version control tools such as Git.

Bonus Skills:

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and MLOps tools, especially Vertex AI.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Clear and effective communication skills--both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
