Job Description

Load and unload metal coils onto and from the coil slitting machine, using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment Adjust and align the slitting knives, spacers, and arbors according to the required strip widths and tolerances Operate the coil slitting machine, and monitor the speed, tension, and alignment of the metal strips Measure and inspect the metal strips for width, thickness, length, and surface defects, using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other tools Record and report the production data, such as coil number, weight, size, and quality Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of the coil slitting machine, and report any malfunctions or issues to the Supervisor Follow the safety rules and regulations, and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment Performs general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department and assists other areas as required. Ensure compliance with the legal and other requirements is relevant to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001. Continuously contribute to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 improvement activities in with Jemco's objectives.

Job Requirement:

At least SPM Candidate has 2-3 years working experience as machine operator or relevant job Willing to work at Balakong @ Seri Kembangan
