Job Description

Machine Operation & Setup

Set up and operate printing machines used in packaging production (e.g., flexographic, gravure, digital, or offset presses). Prepare and load substrates, inks, cylinders/plates, and other materials according to job specifications. Adjust machine settings for correct registration, tension, color matching, and print clarity.

Quality Control

Monitor print quality throughout production, checking for color consistency, registration accuracy, and defects. Conduct in-process inspections and make adjustments as needed. Ensure finished packaging products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and replacing parts. Troubleshoot mechanical or print-quality issues to minimize downtime. Report any equipment malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors promptly.

Production Efficiency

Follow daily production schedules and meet output targets. Record production data, machine settings, waste levels, and material usage. Assist in reducing waste and improving productivity through continuous improvement practices.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, proper PPE usage, and safe machine operation. Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S or similar standards. Comply with company policies, food safety guidelines (if applicable), and industry regulations.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
