Job Description

As a Machine Operator in our highway barrier production team, you will be responsible for operating multiple types of machinery to produce high-quality barriers that meet our stringent standards for safety and durability. Your role is crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our production line and maintaining the quality of our products. You will be a key player in our commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

a. Operate Machinery

Skillfully operate various machines involved in the production of highway barriers. Ensure machinery is set up correctly and operates efficiently to meet production targets.
b. Maintenance and Cleaning

Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery in optimal working condition. Clean machinery and work areas to prevent disruptions and maintain a safe environment.
c. Quality Inspection

Inspect finished barriers to ensure they meet quality and consistency standards. Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies to maintain high quality output.
d. Production Targets

Meet or exceed production targets and deadlines set by the production supervisor. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to stay on schedule.
e. Record Keeping

Accurately document production data, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any maintenance performed. Maintain records of machine maintenance activities for audit and reporting purposes.
f. Safety and 5S Practices

Adhere to 5S principles to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills:

a. Experience

Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with operating machinery for producing highway barriers or similar products is a plus.
b. Technical Skills

Ability to operate and troubleshoot multiple types of production machinery. Basic understanding of machine maintenance and safety practices.
c. Attention to Detail

Keen eye for detail to identify defects and ensure product quality. Strong focus on accuracy and consistency in both production and record-keeping.
d. Physical Stamina

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
