Position Overview

Responsible for organizing and overseeing the preventive and corrective maintenance for machinery, maintaining inventories and maintenance areas, and maintenance record keeping.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee and guide technicians, assign daily tasks, and ensure work is completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. Communicate with other departments to schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair work to minimize operational downtime. Offer technical support on engineering-related matters, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure a timely internal response to machinery breakdowns. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed as scheduled and regularly update work order statuses to requesters. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, manage receiving and issuing of spare parts, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure proper labelling and storage in compliance with safety regulations. Submit monthly stock balance and machine breakdown reports, and maintain accurate records for PM, WO, calibration, and MSDS. Ensure the maintenance workshop is clean, organized, and follows the 5S principles and company safety standards. Liaise with management, suppliers, and contractors to review work progress, discuss technical requirements, and follow up on external services. Prepare and provide required documentation during audits, and ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, food safety, and relevant regulatory standards. Monitor the quality of maintenance works, ensure tasks meet internal standards, and resolve facility-related and inspection issues promptly.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Mechanical or Electrical 3-5 years of experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution. Proficiency in electrical or mechanical systems. Strong leadership skills i.e. in communication, interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders, decision-making, delegation, ability to motivate a team, demonstrate integrity, adaptability. Ability to analyze and solve technical problems effectively. Understanding food industry standards, regulations, and best practices, is bonus.

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge and skill in principle of Mechanical Engineering Ability to analyst problem and identify causes Computer Application - Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently Ability to give suggestions to improve the manufacturing process Creative and innovative to improve the Preventive Maintenance Process Ability to plan and follow up the work schedule. Confidence, initiative and ability to be leader.
