Job Description

1. To take charge of machining production activities and ensuring that they are operated within defined procedures and standards.

2. Improve measures and control performance trends, as well as taking corrective and preventive action when necessary.

3. To assist the Plant Manager in the daily management of production process, safety, manpower, planning and also involved in the improvement of production efficiencies.

4. To ensure production of good quality raw casting and finished parts.

5. To ensure smooth production so as to meet customer's requirement and delivery schedule.

6. To train and motivate the machining work force to achieve production schedule, quality and targets.

7. Responsible for the production and tooling section.

8. To achieve Key Performance Indicator.

9. To do preliminary studies of new parts quotations.

10. To do optimization of machining parameters and machining fixtures trials.

11. To assist engineering department to develop new parts.

12. To ensure production comply with the safety requirement.

13. To ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in accordance to requirement of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 management system.

14. To perform any other jobs or duties as and when required by the superior.

Minimum Requirements

Preferably at least 5 years experience in a managerial position. Preferably at least 5 years experience in machining environment. Strong leadership qualities with good interpersonal and communication skills. Degree in Engineering field.

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
