Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Analyst with 6-9 years of experience to join our Cards team, specializing in Cardlink / Issuing systems. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Mainframe systems, COBOL programming, and CICS, with strong business knowledge in e-commerce and acquiring. The role requires both hands-on technical capabilities and strong analytical skills to support solution design, impact analysis, and business requirements interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret business requirements to produce system solutions and functional designs for Cardlink / Issuing systems. Perform impact analysis, estimation, and solution design for change requests and new initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Define test strategy and provide support during system and integration testing. Work with Mainframe ZOS, utilizing COBOL, CICS, and JCL for system design documentation and validation. Handle file-based data via VSAM and sequential datasets (no relational database). Support project delivery within timelines and compliance requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

6-9 years of experience in system analysis and design in Mainframe-based Cards systems. Strong hands-on knowledge of:o Cardlink (Card Issuing)o Mainframe COBOLo CICSo JCLo VSAM and Sequential datasets Proven experience in e-commerce and acquiring business domains.

Proficient in requirements gathering, system documentation, and creating solution proposals. Experience in SDLC processes including design, testing, and deployment support

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
