Responsibilities :
Responsible for the installation of new infrastructures pertaining to monitoring tooling. Will manage, analyze and test existing infrastructures to improve the automation of processes and procedures. Contributes to overall strategic network automation planning and evaluates the use of new technologies including project costs and planning.

• Design and implement new monitoring tooling
• Evaluation and execution of operation systems testing to ensure adequate service levels.
• Deployment and management of automation operation specialists guarantee service levels.
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on analysis and monitoring results.
• Create protocols for security measures, system architecture and documentation.
• Utilize industry best practices for business continuity and capacity planning.

Knowledge and skills required:

• Experience in customer facing role either remote or face to face
• Experience with the following tools: TMF, DM, ITM, TEC, MOMC, CA TNG, Tivoli Netview, Tivoli Netview for z/OS , Systems Automation for z/OS, CA-OPS-MVS, Sysview, and HP Automation Extensions (EAX).
• Experienced in the following programming languages: ISPF, REXX, SQL CA-OPS/MVS, Must have experience with some or all of the following software: Standard software from IBM, CA, and BMC.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience.
• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• BCS MTP Specialist (Operations) certification.
• BCS MTP Technician (Technical Support) certification.
• ITIL management certification.
