Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Maintenance Executive

to oversee the maintenance and repair of our equipment, machinery, and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing preventive maintenance programs, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards. This role is critical in minimizing downtime and enhancing overall plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and improve routine preventive maintenance systems. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and participate in on-call duties. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, including DCS, PLC, and network IO (preferably Simatic systems). Calibrate and maintain instrumentation and control equipment. Perform electrical work on systems up to 440Vac. Install and relocate equipment as required. Support mechanical and electrical upgrades to plant systems. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement. Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics. Conduct maintenance on motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems. Assemble and wire control panels, ensuring compliance with wiring standards and labeling. Test and calibrate control consoles and integrate them into main systems. Work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements

Minimum

7 years of experience

as an industrial electrician, with a focus on electrical control systems in a manufacturing environment. Possession of a valid

A0 Chargeman Certificate

from Suruhanjaya Tenaga or

A4 certification

. Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and operations. Proficient in electrical distribution and control systems up to 440 VAC, 3-phase. Strong troubleshooting skills in PLC-based systems and automation components (e.g., sensors, actuators, valves, motors). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Effective communication skills in English. High attention to detail and strong record-keeping capabilities.
