Job Description

This position is reported to the COO and must have AO certs (e.g., AO, BO, B4)

Responsible:

Developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies and schedules to maximise asset uptime and efficiency Directing and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team, including technicians, electricians, and mechanics Analysing maintenance data and identifying areas for improvement to enhance the overall maintenance program Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance-related issues proactively Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the maintenance function Participating in the planning and execution of capital projects and equipment upgrades Providing technical expertise and guidance to the broader organisation

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a maintenance management or leadership role within the engineering industry Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance programs, including predictive and preventative maintenance strategies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address complex maintenance challenges Strong project management and team leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse maintenance team Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and data analysis tools Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Professional Certificates (added advantage):

Chargeman / Wireman (e.g., AO, BO, B4) - important for electrical systems HVAC Certification (air-conditioning)

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
