Key Responsibilities

1) Electrical (Chargeman A0 Scope)

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage (up to 415V) electrical installations, including distribution boards, and factory wiring. Perform daily/weekly checks on compressors, dryers, brazing machines, cutting & bending machines, ensuring safe electrical operation. Ensure compliance with Electricity Supply Act 1990 & Electricity Regulations 1994. Maintain electrical logbooks, inspection records, and assist during Energy Commission inspections. Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime in production. Provide immediate response to electrical breakdowns in manufacturing lines. Coordinate with vendors or contractors when specialized repair is required

2) Mechanical & Machining

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical parts (jigs, fixtures, motors, pumps, gearboxes). Operate basic machining tools (lathe, milling, drilling) to fabricate or modify parts for production and maintenance use. Provide support during machine breakdown (tube cutting, expansion, bending, brazing equipment). Advantage to have experience dealing with hydraulic / pneumatic machine and mechanism

3) General Maintenance & Factory Support

Monitor and maintain utilities (compressed air system, water supply, lighting, small facility repairs). Ensure PPE usage and safety procedures (LOTO) during maintenance activities. Support Environmental requirements (e.g., electrical equipment disposal under E-waste, scheduled waste handling). Report and document all maintenance activities in line with ISO system requirements.

Requirements

Chargeman A0 Certificate (Suruhanjaya Tenaga certified, valid license). At least 2 years working experience in electrical maintenance for manufacturing industries. Hands-on skills in mechanical machining (lathe, milling, drilling, welding is an advantage). Knowledge of copper tube manufacturing process (cutting, expansion, bending, brazing) is an added advantage. Knowledge of handling hydraulic & pneumatic machine and equipment is added advantage. Familiar with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 requirements for maintenance records and compliance. Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical & mechanical). Able to work in shifts or respond to emergency breakdowns.
