Job Description


(JD): Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for equipment used in food production (filling machines, mixers, packaging machines, chiller, etc.). Learn and follow strict sanitation procedures to ensure food safety compliance. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical problems related or non-related to food processing equipment. Assist with installation and repair of electrical components under the direct supervision of a licensed electrician. Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, including equipment logs and repair reports. Learn and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams specific to food manufacturing equipment. Assist with developing and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules for food processing equipment. Prepare reports on completed maintenance tasks, highlighting potential areas for improvement. Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols. Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on industrial equipment Working knowledge of basic electrical principles (voltage, current, resistance). Skills: Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical problems. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
