Key Responsibilities

• Maintain existing equipment in optimal operating condition, ensuring high machine availability and reliability.
• Design, develop, and implement preventive maintenance programs for plants, factory, and building facilities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, electrical, mechanical and control systems.
• Reduce dependency on outsourcing by internalizing troubleshooting and repair activities, including proper documentation of procedures and work instructions.
• Program, maintain, and document PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
• Ensure smooth plant operations with minimal downtime and maximum equipment availability.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify improvement opportunities in equipment performance and process efficiency.
• Ensure all systems comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Works closely with Production, Quality, EHS, and Warehouse teams

Projects and Continuous Improvement

• Support CAPEX projects related to automation, machine upgrades, and process improvements.

• Commission new machines and retrofits, including FAT and SAT activities.
• Train technicians and operators on preventive maintenance and autonomous maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic) or similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering.
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Good communication skill in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
