Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) with hands-on experience in factory electrical systems and production machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining electrical components, especially for blow molding and injection molding machines, ensuring smooth and safe factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on blow molding and injection molding machines, including motors, heaters, sensors, PLC systems, and control panels.
- Diagnose electrical faults such as tripping, overloads, wiring failures, and defective components.
- Repair or replace electrical parts such as MCBs, relays, contactors, heater rings, sensors, and switches.
Machine & Equipment Support
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) to minimize machine downtime.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and testing for blow molding and injection molding equipment.
- Provide immediate support for urgent breakdowns to maintain production continuity.
Electrical Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with company and industry safety standards.
- Maintain updated records for repair works, machine electrical drawings, and component lists.
- Carry out root-cause analysis for repeated electrical failures.
General Factory & External Support
- Support maintenance of factory utilities such as chillers, compressors, motors, pumps, and main electrical wiring.
- Work closely with the production team to keep machines operating efficiently.
- Travel to Singapore when required to troubleshoot or resolve electrical issues at customer sites or machine suppliers.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of factory electrical maintenance experience, preferably with blow molding or injection molding machinery.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills in industrial automation.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of 3-phase wiring, AC/DC systems, control panels, sensors, relays, heater controllers (e.g., TK4S), and PLC wiring basics.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and machine diagrams.
- Basic mechanical understanding is an advantage.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willing to work overtime and respond to emergency breakdowns.
- Willing to travel to Singapore when needed.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
