Successful interns will gain valuable experience in the medical device industry, potentially shaping their career decisions and crafting future employment opportunities.What will you be doing?Work closely with managers to complete specifically identified projects.Present project conclusions to senior leadership.Assist with preventive maintenance tasks on equipment.Assist in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repair.Assist with the preparation of documentation such as maintenance work instructions, checklists, and reports.Assist with spare part inventory management.Collect maintenance-related data and report KPIs.Participate in maintenance-related projects, such as equipment installation or improvement.Contribute to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s maintenance strategies and the team\xe2\x80\x99s goals.What will you need to be successful?Candidates must be currently matriculated as undergraduates at an accredited university, majoring in Engineering or a similar field, and be in excellent academic standing with a 3.0 GPA preferred. Previous relevant intern, part-time, or apprenticeship experience is also preferred.Ideal candidates will have a strong curiosity about working with manufacturing equipment, a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and knowledge of PLC programming, CNC equipment, and Maintenance Management Software. They should demonstrate strong safety awareness, leadership, and effective project management skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
