Why Join Ranpak An opportunity to be involved in the high-growth sector of sustainable packaging solutions across a broad range of industrial and market segments To have an opportunity for outstanding career development To secure an attractive compensation and benefits package 1.0 PURPOSE Oversee entire plant equipment and utility To manage factory energy consumption, maintenance and utility according to local and Ranpak\'s standards and policies. 2.0 REPORTING The Maintenance Engineer reports to the Manufacturing Manager. 3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES Realize (preventive and curative) maintenance and repairs in a responsible manner. Proposals of improvement and modification of technical installations. Manages the entire Plant Equipment, Utilities including Energy Management and Regulatory Compliance. Confer with management, production, and other related parties to set up work procedures or changes. Coordinate and direct corporate level projects, and makes detailed plans to accomplish it. Attend to authority related such as DOSH for machineries and chemicals, DOE for Environmental related matters, and other Energy provider such as TNB. Analyze technology, resource needed, and to ensure the equipment\'s were well optimized with current technologies. Review and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department including contracts for natural resources and preventive maintenance. In charge of Plant Shutdown and Utility Interruption. 4.0 MAIN TASKS To carry out and ensure all preventive maintenance on production equipment and utilities are fulfil as per schedule. Leading maintenance team to coach and resolving any electrical and/or mechanical failures. Performing verification on any repairs and alterations task completion into production and general services. Identify (potential) problems or deficiencies (Trouble Shooter). Relevant communication with users, department managers and superiors. Validation on any machine repairs or maintenance Facility with proper record keeping. Providing relevant records such as; time sheets, control lists, outlook system, check and sign off of work orders. Making orders to have the correct and enough parts in stock and ensure costs remain within budget. Taking care of housekeeping and safety at the workplace & office. Coached junior team members in delivering results. To carry out other duties or tasks as assigned by superior from time to time. 5.0 PROFILE Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience. Knowledge in Programmable Logic Control (PLC), SCADA or AutoCAD Manufacturing technologies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Industry 4.0(IOT/Automation). Operational excellence principles and tools (e.g. Value streams, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) Team player but also capable to work solitaire Pro-active Service oriented Accurate Thinking problem solving Time study and manpower utilization calculation. Good use of statistical methods and analytical skill and recommended best solution in solving manufacturing problems. Ability to identify the best tools and technologies to manage workflow and improve overall equipment efficiency. Supported manager or plant manager in establishing plant equipment preventive maintenance and other engineering tasks. Ability in scheduling and coordinating the work and activities of others to accomplish tasks assigned. Languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia.
