JOB DESCRIPTION AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Schedule and carry out master maintenance and calibration to minimize equipment downtime.
Monitor equipment condition and take proactive measures to prevent failures.
Work closely with Production Engineers to align maintenance activities with production requirements.
Support process optimization by coordinating equipment availability and reliability.
Diagnose equipment faults and perform or oversee necessary repairs and modifications.
Respond promptly to machine or process equipment failures to minimize production disruptions.
Supervise and support technical staff in routine and corrective maintenance tasks.
Provide engineering solutions to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Oversee third-party contractors for defect rectification and warranty-related work.
Track, report, and expedite corrective action plans on all equipment defects.
Negotiate with suppliers and contractors for cost-effective parts and service without compromising quality.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment history, and financial/statistical reports.
Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities for audit and compliance purposes.
Ensure all maintenance activities follow occupational health and safety regulations and promote safe working practices on-site.
Ensure systematic filing and updating of maintenance records, manuals, and drawings.
Assist in budgeting and cost tracking for maintenance operations.
Perform other tasks related to the Maintenance Department or any ad-hoc tasks assigned by a superior.
REQUIREMENT:
At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
Have good knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001.
Having knowledge/experience in chemical production or manufacturing operation (is preferred).
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, equipment installation, and basic Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or automation systems.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
Note: Salary is negotiable based on relevant working experience and qualification.
