Key Responsibilities

Lead, monitor, and continuously optimize metal stamping operations to ensure production targets, efficiency levels, and quality standards are consistently achieved. Perform regular machinery setup, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow. Maintain, repair, and improve stamping tooling, including conducting root-cause analysis on defects and implementing corrective or preventive measures. Analyze production, tooling, and machine performance data to identify trends and propose process improvements for higher accuracy, productivity, and cost efficiency. Prepare, update, and compile detailed technical reports, including process documentation, defect analysis, and improvement reports, ensuring full compliance with quality and safety standards. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, dial gauges, micrometers, projectors, and other metrology tools to verify part conformance and support quality inspections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Maintenance, Engineering) to resolve issues, support new product introduction, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline; specialization or experience in Metal Stamping is highly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in metal stamping or a related manufacturing environment. Strong foundational knowledge of stamping processes, tooling concepts, and machine operation (mandatory). Proven experience in machinery troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including sound knowledge of GD&T principles for accurate dimension and tolerance analysis. Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation, report writing, and process improvement initiatives. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
