Maintenance Engineer

to ensure our machines, equipment, and facilities operate at optimum performance with minimal downtime.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, compressors, and other production equipment. Diagnose equipment failures and perform troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or control systems. Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, repairs, and major overhauls. Work closely with production to respond quickly to breakdowns and reduce machine downtime. Maintain maintenance records, service logs, spare part inventories, and equipment documentation. Evaluate machine performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency. Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and machine suppliers when required. Support installation, commissioning, and setup of new machines or equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote safe work practices during maintenance tasks. Assist in continuous improvement projects related to equipment performance and energy efficiency.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 2-5 years experience in industrial maintenance, especially in machining or manufacturing environments (CNC experience is a strong advantage). Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Experience with CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.) is an added benefit. Able to read technical manuals, electrical schematics, and machine drawings. Good problem-solving ability and able to work under pressure during breakdowns. Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills. Willing to work overtime or attend urgent breakdowns when required.

Pay: RM2,358.99 - RM5,369.38 per month
