Job Description

s: * Lead the Maintenance Team to manage electrical and instrumentation maintenance and engineering activities for the plant to ensure optimum plant availability for production;

• Plan and schedule for routine inspection, daily, periodic and major maintenance to minimise equipment downtime while maintaining optimum operation and minimising production losses;
• Review, analyze, audit and verified the inspection result, ensure Root Cause Analysis are properly conducted to prevent repetitive breakdowns & unnecessary production downtime;
• Plan the corrective and preventive maintenance for equipments and facilities upgrade;
• Initiating Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for centralized corrective maintenance work & preventive maintenance work database for proper planned maintenance activities such as shutdowns & major turnaround;
• Responsible for budgeting, cost control and inventory control for parts/tools, equipment purchase;
• Job safety analysis preparation along with equipment inspections and troubleshooting;
• Responsible for maintaining the Distributed Control System (DCS) in good condition and improvement of DCS engineering activities;
• Responsible for new projects, upgrading projects for E&I and Safety Instrumented System (SIS) equipment;
• Manage budget, project system design, procurement, execution, commissioning, testing and documentation;
• Ensure all environmental, health and safety rules and guidelines are being adhered to and maintain high safety standards and safe working environment;
• Responsible to set up and hiring the maintenance team;
• Coach, train and motive and promote team work among the subordinates for best service and performance;
• Perform any other tasks and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
