Job Responsibility:

Installation and repair:

Install, inspect, and repair battery packs, and troubleshoot issues using electrical test equipment.

Preventive maintenance:

Conduct routine maintenance, such as monitoring charge and discharge cycles, and replacing faulty parts.

Safety compliance:

Follow strict safety procedures, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and handle batteries in compliance with regulations.

Performance monitoring:

Monitor equipment like cooling towers, HVAC, and electrical systems to ensure a stable and reliable environment for battery production or use.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate logs and records of all maintenance and operational tasks.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and fix minor equipment problems and escalate complex issues to senior staff.

Collaboration:

Work with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to improve processes and implement best practices.
Skills and qualifications

Technical skills:

Experience with mechanical & electrical systems, and diagnostic tools is crucial.

Problem-solving:

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are needed to identify and resolve issues.

Safety awareness:

A strong understanding of safety standards and regulations for handling batteries is essential.

Physical fitness:

The role often requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks, work in varied environments, and sometimes wear specialized safety gear.
