Lead the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. Working in collaboration with the site maintenance lead and remote maintenance planner to plan corrective maintenance work. To learn more: https://www.graymont.com/en/sustainability/environmental-care/climate-change Our Role We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner for our Kemaman Limestone Processing Plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent. This role will support the maintenance lead with planning and scheduling for breakdown and emergency work and will work with the remote planner for longer term corrective maintenance planning. This work will ensure jobs are planned safely and efficiency to remove waste from the execution process. Main duties include:

• Plan prioritised maintenance corrective work, ensuring parts are ordered against a work order and are onsite ready for the work to be completed.
• Follow Graymont\xe2\x80\x99s work order management cycle for maintenance work. In the planning stage, update work orders with correct planning information to allow a maintenance specialist to safely complete the plan work in the future.
• Work with the remote planner to identify weekly planning objectives based on production requirements.
• Follow Graymont\xe2\x80\x99s procurement process to ensure parts are available for maintenance work to be completed.
• Manage local contractors to obtain detailed job scope and costing for corrective work unable to be completed by local maintenance team.
• Support the planning and scheduling of maintenance breakdown work to ensure the jobs are completed safely and equipment is returned to service. Act as backup for the maintenance lead to manage work order management cycle for breakdown work in JDE.
• Communicate with regional accountant if criterial spares are used during the month, to ensure parts are costed and reordered.
• Work with the maintenance lead to reprioritise works due to unscheduled breakdowns or other urgent maintenance in the schedule week.

The successful candidate will have a technical diploma in Engineering or any relevant field. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Cement, Lime, Heavy or Manufacturing Industry. Experience in Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software and management of work orders. Successful experience in planning and/or scheduling within operations combined with knowledge and experience with spare parts management as well as managing third party contractors and suppliers.
