Job Description

Purpose of the role

You will be a key member of the Maintenance Team, and will be responsible for ensuring the Maintenance job activity meets the company goal, complies with safety requirements, and is able to demonstrate a good work etiquette as per maintenance requirement. You will work closely with the Production team and Maintenance team, and will be expected to attend the maintenance daily meeting/briefing.

Be able to handle power tools, good at welding and repairing is necessary.

Responsible for operating and take caring machinery from the factory. Prepare and follow a cleaning & maintenance schedule for all factory machinery. Perform detailed evaluation of facilities and equipment to ensure that they are in good condition for proper functioning. Perform all duties that are necessary in resolving reactionary activities, and report the need for further maintenance and safety to supervisor. Ensure the proper use of all tools and equipment in the office. Assist Maintenance Manager in different phases of renovations and general maintenance. and review works performed by contractors to ensure that they are in good condition. Perform repairs on ceiling panels, plumbing and so on as the need arises. Inspect equipment according to the schedule and highlight if any may require repair or replacement. Ensure general safety in and around the factory to ensure overall optimum operations and to highlight if there is a need for repairs. Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time, within your category of employment in the organization.
To carry out a wide range of general maintenance & repair activities in and around the factory facilities related including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc. To take responsibility for all repairs and scheduled maintenance & cleaning of the various equipment, machines and infrastructure around the site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
