Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled

Maintenance Technician

to join our team at Future Food Sdn Bhd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of production equipment and facilities, with a strong focus on

cooler and chiller systems

that support food manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of

cooler, chiller, and refrigeration systems

to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize production downtime. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, utilities, and facility equipment. Monitor system performance, temperature control, and safety parameters for chillers and coolers. Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment when required. Maintain proper documentation for maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts usage. Ensure compliance with

safety standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food industry hygiene requirements

. Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Report any abnormalities, hazards, or major repairs needed to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.

Job Requirements

Certificate/Diploma in

Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, or related field

. Minimum

2 years of maintenance experience

,

preferably i

n the

food manufacturing/FMCG industry

. Hands-on knowledge of

cooler, chiller, refrigeration, and HVAC systems

. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment drawings. Good problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work on shifts, weekends, or on-call if required.

Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
