Administrating platforms and Linux based infrastructure on behalf of Customers
Troubleshooting and resolving issues on enterprise Linux systems
Monitor and optimize the health and performance of applications and platforms
Performance analysis and data recovery for critical systems, and data backup measures
Debug problems reported by customers using in-depth log analysis
Proactively monitors the work queues
Participate in shift rotation support schedule as assigned
Perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents/requests within the agreed SLA
Act as level 1/2, identify, investigate, analyse issues and errors escalated prior to or when they occur
Documentation and support of Linux servers
Requirements
Demonstrated working proficiency with Red Hat/CentOS/ Fedora operating systems concepts
Min 2 years experience with Linux/Unix engineering, debugging, administration and OS system provisioning
Working knowledge of storage, backup, as well as Unix shell scripting (Bash)/Perl scripting
Incident management environment
