We are currently recruiting for a multinational consumer products manufacturing company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Management Accountant, who will be responsible for full spectrum of costing matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Managing Director, based in Shah Alam.Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for monitoring product costing and inventories in the system is updated always.
  • Active participation in financial and manufacturing reports and detailed analysis, working closely with the Finance Manager.
  • Act as the business partner to management and multiple stakeholders, which includes operations, supply chain, commercial team, etc.
  • Responsible for forecast and budgeting, along with frequent analytics on Gross Profit.
  • Close liaison with intercompany on price and material changes in the Southeast Asia region.
  • Provide recommendation on cost savings and process improvements.
  • Perform in ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Possess Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant financial reporting and costing, in the manufacturing industry.
  • People management experience is an added advantage.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, proactive and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English and Mandarin.
