Primary (Functional) Responsibilities

• Enhance the audit effectiveness by developing dashboards via analytics tool for risk monitoring, Audit, and ad-hoc review.
• Advise and enable auditors in leveraging data and analytics for their conduct of audits and/or investigations and/or gap validations.
• Enhancing and maintaining the data mart and tools/dashboards implemented for the bank includes overcome challenges and resolve the issue encountered.
• Conduct training / knowledge sharing to auditors to improve the knowledge and awareness of use data and apply analytics.
• Engage with internal & external stakeholders includes vendor in delivering the assignment includes finding feasible solutions.
• Responsible in managing the deliverable and timeline of dashboards development and report request.
• Analyze and provide relevant insights from the dashboards to the business units, senior managements and boards.
• Assist overseas branches / subsidiaries in using data / analytics for risk assessment & monitoring and audit.
• Attend to ad-hoc matters raised by Chef Internal Auditor/Head of Division

Managerial

• Advise and enable the other audit teams / business unit on leveraging the dashboards / data analytics in control gaps identifying, risk monitoring and etc.
• Engage with internal & external stakeholder in delivering the tools/dashboards to identify and manage the potential risks to the bank.
• Develop team members with strong audit and analytical skills
• Assist overseas branches / subsidiaries in using data / analytics for risk assessment & monitoring and audit.

Candidate Prerequisites:

• At 8 least year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required skill(s): tableau, SQL/ PostgreSQL & SAS experience.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Data Analytics/ Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
