To provide inputs and advice to stakeholders internally & externally from a subject matter expert point of view To be responsible for end-to-end design and project planning and management works not limited to the below: (a) supporting the Head of Branch Project Management in ensuring effective project & contract management (b) coordinating with various consultants, contractors and vendors including internal stakeholders (c) collaborating with engineers, architects, consultants and etc. to determine specifications and scopes of the project assigned (d) dealing with designers/draughtsmen on fit-out plans and design matters for any assigned projects (e) preparing/ managing Bills of Quantity, RFP/ RFQ/ tender documents, statutory submissions until approval and tender briefing with various contractors and vendors (f) planning and preparing MIP (Master Implementation Program), construction/ fit-out operations and schedules ensuring milestones are achieved (g) monitoring project site progress to ensure it is in accordance with project timelines, budgets and approved drawings including regular site inspections (h) escalating proposed changes to cost or timescale beyond contractual levels and checking for possible effects on the approved Business Cases (i) keeping track of work schedules for each project to ensure timeline and financial targets are met (j) preparing monthly project control reports to ensure risks and issues are being tracked and mitigated/resolved and financial tracking on expenditure levels (k) conducting and evaluating monthly project and post-project review meetings to ensure benefits are realized with internal and external stakeholders (l) being a liaison officer between internal and external stakeholders (m) budgeting and financial planning based on approved capital and operating expenditure. To undertake any work related to projects assigned by superiors from time to time. To deliver the above responsibilities in accordance with the Bank's policies and operating procedures. Managerial To plan, organize and direct the project and process workflow(s) for the function and projects assigned To manage issues and propose solutions To ensure strong teamwork to achieve department and divisional targets To manage budget versus actual expenditure without gaps Organizational To ensure compliance with the Bank's Code of Conduct, internal and external policies and procedures To uphold credibility as a leader of the Bank and Group To ensure strong teamwork in line with the Bank's vision, mission and core values Requirements: Degree holder in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction/ Development related field or equivalent. Minimum of 6 years of working experience in design planning and project management field is mandatory. A people manager for a minimum of 3 years. Candidates with registration/certification in any relevant professional bodies in the property development industry are highly encouraged to apply. Commendable oral and written communication skills are a must. Skilled in design and project planning and feasibility studies. High project cash flow and contract literacy. Willing to travel regularly across project sites nationwide. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
