Job Description


Edelman Malaysia is seeking an exceptional, confident manager who is responsible for managing overall account team performance as it relates to client service and quality control on multiple, sizable pieces of business to join our Brand team. We want to engage a partner with strong experience in integrated brand management who can ensure that our and our clients\' integrated brand business objectives are met. Do you love brands Let\'s talk. What you\'ll be doing: Understand clients\' businesses and their strategies, to translate strategies into communication solutions for brands and Clients. Brand custodian - leading Client conversations and day-to-day management of brands/businesses. Ensures all brand basic follow-ups are adhered to (i.e. contact reports, timeline management, budget management) Seeking out brand opportunities from existing and potential brands. Lead and integrate research, planning, creative ideation, and development of comprehensive integrated brand campaigns. Represents brand during project meetings imparting/recommending integrated solutions to businesses. Learn brand strategies and support/partner brands in turning problems/challenges into solutions. Understand production processes (traditional and digital/social) to deliver the best output. Ability to lead/manage medium to large projects, as well as teams, on multiple sizable accounts. Demonstrate writing excellence when crafting internal and client correspondence, communications plans, press materials, new business proposals, etc. Track and monitor project financials (e.g., budget vs. actual) and meet revenue targets. Grow account organically by introducing clients to relevant Edelman capabilities, including resources outside of the group, to advance their business goals. Grow network of industry clients and participates in relevant professional organizations and networking activities that will grow Edelman\'s brand recognition and own reputation. Initiate new business processes, including identifying new business opportunities and helping lead the RFP response process. Display strong presentation skills. Mentor, coaches and supports all team members and ensures staff is developing abilities through Edelman Learning Institute and other training, including on-the-job training and mentoring. What is required of you: At least 5 years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, or media planning - focus on integrated brand communications. Possess a good attitude, willing to continuously evolve and learn/grow. Has good interpersonal skills and is a good team player. Superior writing and verbal communication skills, specifically with the purpose of writing to persuade demonstrated ability to effectively multitask, delegate and manage assignments and Understanding of brand sector trends, with a focus on the Southeast Asia region and the ability to draw insights from this understanding to counsel clients. A strong team player and possess business acumen to learn and grow.
