About The Role Responsible for analyzing business (technology) requirements, solution development, risk & impact assessment, implementation & transition, documentation & compliance to AIA Architecture Standards. The role will support Cloud and infrastructure Architecture and governance initiatives of AIA across the globe. Job Responsibilities: Participate in developing cloud and infrastructure strategy. Defining cloud and infrastructure standards, principles, and best practices. Performing Architecture design reviews for both High level and low-level designs. Evaluating new technologies and updating the product standards Creating roadmaps and governance around the approved products Creating deployment guides, integration architecture for the approved products. Creating High availability and disaster recovery deployment guides. Creating Azure policies to govern the standards defined. Continues governance for all technology standards. Conducting and responding to technology audits. Conduct Prof of concepts Create business case for group lead major projects. Participate in RFP and RFQs Governance around monitoring, logging, API\'s, security standards etc. Governance and standards for End user technologies such as power Apps, Office 365. Governance and standards for DevSecops platforms and onboarding applications in group DevSecOps platforms. Cloud migrations. Functional/Technical Skills Familiar with and a thorough understanding of the specific technologies, tools and assets used for Cloud infrastructure. Familiar with methods and techniques for risk management, business impact analysis, countermeasures and contingency arrangements relating to the serious disruption of IT services. Examples: resilience, security, fallback location/services, mobile back-up, diversity. Proficient in products and/or Infrastructure services supplied by external suppliers. Proficient in techniques for ensuring that full account is taken of users\' real and stated needs in the delivery of IT services. Proficient in methods, techniques and tools for planning, organising, resourcing, directing, co-ordinating and monitoring ongoing IT delivery and discretionary/project activities. Proficient in methods and techniques for reporting progress and financial conformance against an agreed plan. Familiar with methods and techniques for negotiating contracts for the supply of IT products and services. Proficient in the purpose and composition of a service level agreement (SLA); the relationship between an SLA and a contract for the supply of services. Proficient in methods and techniques for managing contracts to ensure that suppliers adhere to agreed contract requirements. Experienced in managing outsourced Services. Job Requirements Degree holder in IT / Computer Science or equivalent discipline. At least 10 years work experience within IT Infrastructure functions with at least 5 years in architecture & design role. Proficiency in architecture design & implementations on public clouds (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS on Azure, AliCloud (Optional)etc.) Preferably experienced on DevOps, hybrid cloud integration with on-premises infrastructure. Cloud Architecture related certifications (AZ-300) Proficiency in working with Kubernetes and Docker. Scripting knowledge (yaml, json, PowerShell and bash) Deep knowledge on database and middleware platform layers Knowledge on cloud networking. Knowledge on DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, Ansible. Knowledge on cloud orchestration tools. Ability to analyse, develop and recommend long-term strategic solutions to ensure capacity meets current and future requirements. Ability to drive multiple vendors to support a complex enterprise infrastructure environment. Work with internal and external partners, carriers, facility operators and our hardware vendors to design and develop connectivity strategy Public cloud (Azure) design and support experience at enterprise level required Strong project implementation background, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure. Strong sense of ownership & self-driven Excellent communication skills in English Cooperative, good teamwork and able to work independently. Extensive experience in software development, release engineering, or operations roles. Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java) and scripting languages. Hands-on experience with configuration management and deployment tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Hands on experience in creating DevOps pipelines using Azure devops, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Atlassian products and Security and testing tools.
