About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare Standard Instruction Memo (SIM) to Wholesale Loan Operations (WLOC) for implementation of OD-PC Tier and transfer of funds to borrower\'s account.
• For new contract awarded to be financed under the Blanket Contract Financing line, check and ensure the limits carved out for this contract is updated at the Credit Master System (CMT). A copy of the Summary Facility is to be printed for record
• Check and ensure that the new contract line\'s limits are also reflected at the Collateral and Document Management system (CDMS) before submitting SIM to WLOC for implementation. A copy of the CDMS Facility details to be printed for record.
• Review and update FITAS Notepad Conditions related to the contract

eg. compute available limit for borrowers with capping on usage * Compute advance margin and check compliance of drawdown conditions

• Ensure that :-

• Sinking Fund FD Collateral is created from contract proceeds.
• Instructions are given to Trade Operations for settlement of outstanding trade bills
• Remaining balance of contract proceeds to be credited to borrower\'s operating account
• Update the changes in the terms and conditions (via SLO/approval memo) into the CF Mastersheet. Ensure that the supporting documents are filed.
• Send email advising ARMs on receipt of funds and to obtain the payment certificates for apportionment.
• Monitor the contract progress based on drawdown and receipt of proceeds. Discuss with Team Leader for any exceptional scenario.
