Position Overview
- Reporting directly to the CEO, the Manager, Corporate Affairs & Compliance is a sole contributor role responsible for corporate governance, Bursa Malaysia reporting, compliance, investor relations, and special corporate projects.
- The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in public-listed environments -- ideally within the real estate or construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
-'Corporate Governance & Board Support
- Prepare quarterly and annual corporate reports, including MD&A, Sustainability Statements, and strategic updates.
- Support Board and Management meetings, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
- Coordinate corporate governance, risk management, and ABAC compliance.
- Liaise with the Company Secretary on statutory filings, resolutions, and documentation.
- Organize AGMs, EGMs, press briefings, and other corporate events.
- Reporting & Bursa Malaysia Compliance
- Lead preparation of Annual Report and submissions under Bursa Malaysia's Main Market Listing Requirements (MMLR).
- Manage quarterly and annual reporting cycles and public disclosures.
- Oversee corporate announcements, sustainability, and ESG reporting.
- Investor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support investor briefings, results presentations, and press releases.
- Prepare corporate profiles and communication materials.
- Manage investor and media inquiries, ensuring professional engagement.
Ad-Hoc Projects
- Undertake special corporate assignments as directed by Senior Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Administration, Business Administration, or Law (LLB).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience, preferably in a Public-Listed Real Estate or Construction company.
- Strong understanding of Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Companies Act 2016, and governance practices.
- Membership with MIA, MAICSA, or ACCA is an advantage.
