& Summary A career in Resourcing and Deployment, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to work in cross line of service staffing helping our network be even more agile in the ever evolving markets we work with, providing the right people on the right projects at the right time. You\'ll focus on ensuring that resources of suitable skills and calibre are available for tasks and activities as required as well as managing the education, planning, and skills enhancement associated with resources. As a team, we maximise resource sharing and enable the delivery of PwC to our clients through line of service and cross line of service staffing, forecasting, utilisation, and workload balance while considering development and diversity initiatives. Resource Management (RM) team plays a key role to ensure the best alignment of practitioners with the right skillsets to the right engagements at the right time. Scope of work Engage in conversations with stakeholders to understand the project pipeline, skills requirements and open needs to provide insights into issues concerning capacity and deployment, thus enabling effective management of resources. Connect with the professionals to determine their competencies, goals and interests Offer critical advice to the business leadership around demand & supply management, industry and market trends and application to the current functional processes Key responsibilities: Work directly with the business and own responsibility for a particular unit within a Service Line or Location. You will own the business metrics for this group and operationalize RM strategy for them. Some of the key deliverables will be: Responsible for forecasting, staffing, scheduling and making adjustments in real time to capacity planning, workforce management, productivity, utilization, efficiency, leading to profitability for the organization Plan and execute processes around demand forecasting, campus deployments, capacity management, demand-supply gap management along with optimal utilization of staff through resource sharing with other verticals Own governance and review all RM parameters and collaborate with business to drive the metrics - data research, analysis & reconciliation Build a network of RM professionals and manage and conduct regular practitioner sessions to strengthen understanding of ground dynamics Conflict management of schedules, smooth rollover planning Understand key skills and processes used in business and market trends assess practitioner\'s level of competency Partner and build relationships with LoS leadership and practitioners along with the RM pool Advise & drive automation processes for process efficiency Help build a learning focused, passionate, and solution-oriented team To really stand out and make us fit for the future in a constantly changing world, each and every one of us at PwC needs to be a purpose-led and values-driven leader at every level.
