We are looking for a passionate Digital Crewing Manager who will be responsible to support Wilhelmsen Ship Management's digital transformation of crewing activities, take ownership of all applications related to crewing and ensure efficient system support to the global crewing and manning network internally.

This person will be working with Wilhelmsen Ship Management, a comprehensive global maritime group providing over half of the merchant fleet with essential products and services, along with supplying crew and technical management to the largest and most complex vessels ever to sail.

The position will be located at Kuala Lumpur Sentral in the heart of Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. This position will report to Vice President Marine Personnel.

Job Purpose

To support Wilhelmsen Ship Management's digital transformation of crewing activities, take ownership of all applications related to crewing and ensure efficient system support to the global crewing and manning network internally.

Main role, responsibilities, and tasks

• Manage and own all crewing and manning related systems and applications
• Drive internal digital transformation projects for crewing and manning in the interface between internal organization, the crew, and customers to increase overall efficiency and quality
• Lead multiple teams through change projects of varying size and complexity
• Identify company enhancement areas and drive improvement projects
• Lead and drive day-to-day change management projects while providing regular updates to key stakeholders
• Support other functional areas in adaption and utilization of new technologies related to crewing and manning
• Utilize agile methodology to develop new products and solutions
• Develop efficient analytics and reporting tools for crewing and manning activities
• Ensure adequate skillset of all users of relevant systems and applications

Authorities

The Manager, Digital Crewing has the authority to act and make decisions within this functional description, agreed budgets and according to the chart of authority.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/ Master in, business administration, economics, shipping, maritime management or related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years of working experience, with 4 years from management consultancy, in-house project management, business development, operations or other relevant positions
• Deeper experience within project management and transformation can make up for formal education
• Experienced from the maritime industry, crewing is preferred
• Fluent English - written and verbal
• Data - Solid Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint
