Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative digital platform release management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands-on implementation, mentoring and operating of top-notch release processes. You will drive the entire CI/CD pipeline, ensuring it meets the highest standards of security, performance, and reliability, with a focus on full automation.

Key AccountabilitiesDesign, implement and automate DevOps solutions including but not limited infrastructure security, provisioning, CI/CD pipeline. Hands on day-to-day DevOps engineering work and responsible for production level 1 support (24x7 on rotation). Work with offshore junior team members to drive for results with continuous improvements on technical skills, architectural thinking, and communication efficiency. Maintain AWS and Azure infrastructure to ensure efficient and state-of-the-art operations: self-healing, auto-scaling, disaster recovery, etc. Ensure and maintain full automation of routine development tasks, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes. Build the technology capabilities, influence the team with innovative and creative ideas, develop proofs-of-concept to validate various approaches and assumptions Enable monitoring and alerting for micro-services and applications, from hardware and operating systems metrics to important business-level metrics. Provide BAU support and release management for the group digital projects. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency, implementing best practices. Deploy and manage Kubernetes-based containerized applications (EKS), optimizing resource allocation and auto-scaling. Provides cloud/infrastructure hosting support to other workstreams such as OneWeb PreLogin and PostLogin as well as new projects and BAU operations. Ensure cloud/infrastructure setup is tiptop condition to support business objective and attend to request from other workstreams within the pillar Provide advisory to other departments, and markets as and when needed in project or BAU context.

Key Performance IndicatorsComply to security standard and ensure platform vulnerability within the guided timeframe. Simplify digital platform setup and maintenance with well-defined SOP Cloud hosting cost optimization for sustainable digital platforms operation. Manage digital platforms CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless release cycles without compromising customer experience. BAU production support to attend and resolve issue on time according to the standard incident framework to minimize impact to customer.

Qualifications / ExperiencePreferably a bachelor's degree or higher qualification in IT related discipline. At least 5 years of experience as senior or principal DevOps engineer (or equivalent role) working on large-scale projects and architecture.

Knowledge & Technical SkillsSubstantial hands-on expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure design (networking, load balancing, CDN) and CI/CD Pipeline (Jenkins/Azure DevOps). Excellent experience with AWS and/or Azure setup (minimally 2 large scale projects) Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools and stacks like DataDog, NewRelic, Dynatrace, ELK, and others. Fantastic knowledge of Linux systems, networking protocols, and UNIX shell. Experience with one of the major programming languages, preferably Nodejs and Python. Excellent listening, writing, and technical communication skills. Familiarity with database operations, backups, and performance tuning for SQL (PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases. Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for automated provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure.
