A move across the business allows you to continue to access tailored professional development opportunities, and our fantastic benefits packages.The ESG Finance Programme is a multi-year programme within Finance Change Delivery (FCD) to deliver the Global Finance Strategic Solution for ESG reporting obligations (and internal monitoring and reporting capability) for the Bank.As a key member of the Requirement team, this role will contribute to documenting, designing and building a consistent and standardised set of requirements for themes across ESG reporting obligations between Group, Regions and Entities/Sites. The Requirements se resources accordingly for implementation that benefit multiple ESG reporting obligations.This role is a unique opportunity to work in an area of growing interest to regulators, investors, and the wider external market.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Responsible for business and user requirements documentation initially focusing on EU Taxonomy and EBA Pillar 3 projects by ensuring the ESG reporting obligations are well documented, represented and collated.
  • Articulate the business requirements into implementation approach in light of data feeds, sources and systems design implication for onwards design and build.
  • From the business requirements drive the creation of test scenarios that users would perform to trace the solution design against the original requirements.
  • Identify issues globally (and regionally / at entity) as appropriate and share issues and solutions accordingly.
  • Support the day-to-day requirement outcomes for the Group and ESG CFO to front the change through Global Finance and broader stakeholder groups.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships across Finance and other stakeholder groups.
  • Understand how Global Finance impacts can be identified appropriately, in partnership with the ESG CFO team.
  • Work with other programmes to ensure that Finance related ESG dependencies are delivered within the timelines and to the standards required by Finance.
  • Enable transition to BAU, ensuring completeness, governance, and adherence to Change Framework standards.
  • Provide important link into project delivery team to ensure quality in operational readiness planning.
RequirementsWhat you will need to succeed in the role:
  • Solid experience within Finance; particularly with change function, Finance IT, Senior BA/SME capacity be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of existing Finance processes is a crucial, particularly financial, regulatory and ESG reporting is desirable.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS related products i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Ms Visio.
  • Prior experience in global regulatory/finance change within a Finance or Risk context.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good Cross-Finance knowledge and experience, able to confidently speak on behalf of Finance.
  • Understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes, and objectives.
  • Proven track record for adopting an inclusive approach, achieving consensus on action plans for resolving complex issues and ability to exercise independent and out of the box thinking.
  • Ability to influence and manage global and regional stake holder relationships in leading change.
  • Team-working experience in a project environment and a flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple project managers across multiple geographies.
